Research consultancy Kantar TNS Australia, today announced the appointment of James Brown as Executive Director.
James brings over 20 years of international research experience working across FMCG, shopper, healthcare and financial services sectors.
He is a proven leader in developing strategy based on multiple insight sources including qualitative, quantitative, market trends and competitive intelligence.
Over the years, James has worked with many consumer brands helping to identify growth through brand strategy and innovation. Having held both client and agency roles, he understands the value of market insights from a commercial perspective and how to activate these within a business for growth.
Previously a client service director in the Sydney office, in his new role James will be responsible for leading Kantar TNS in Melbourne and driving the team to deliver best in class insight. His primary focus will be on making sure the teams continue to have more meaningful moments and interactions with clients.

James relocated to Melbourne, Australia earlier this year.
