Bastion Collective acquires award-winning Sydney based company, Stable Research

Leading independent marketing and communications group Bastion Collective today announced its acquisition of award-winning Sydney-based Stable Research , an operational market and social research company that listens, recommends and delivers both the people and data our clients need to gain rapid insights and achieve actionable results.

Stable use progressive technology-based tools to make research relatable, real and enjoyable for consumers; and enriching client decision-making, planning and strategy.

Stable deliver to a range of research methodologies including Face to Face, Communities, Product Clinics and Online Surveys. Their bespoke responsive panel, Soapbox Nationwide Community, is extensively profiled and boasts 110,000 members who are diverse and engaged.

The business has been owned by Karen Johnston and Pip Hooper for the last 15 years and during this period the business has grown ten-fold and gained award-winning
recognition for its success. With a strong panel and varied client base, Stable Research is excited about the centralizing of administration functions which will allow the Directors, Pip and Karen, to focus on opportunities in new technology and products.

Speaking on behalf of Stable Research, Pip said, “We are thrilled about the opportunities that the Collective will provide for both our staff and our clients. It’s the
perfect next stage in the evolution of the Stable brand.” Stable Research delivers people to market research discussion groups, communities and surveys. They also script and screen in house for all size projects; anything from 6 people for user experience to 400 people for taste testing or 1,000 for a survey.

This acquisition will enable Bastion Collective to offer this added service to all its clients and complement offerings such as creative, content production, PR and social media,
corporate communications, sponsorship and events, China marketing, government and community engagement.

Bastion Collective AU Chief Executive, Jack Watts welcomed the Stable Research team into Bastion Collective and said he was really excited about the future these data experts can bring.

Watts said: “ For a long time, we have been looking for access to a relevant, nimble and insightful data solution that allows all our businesses to provide a deeper level of service
to our clients. Stable Research is this solution and have access to an incredible amount of data across a range of industries. They will be a fantastic asset to our business, our staff and our clients”.
