MEDIA RELEASE: March 10 2021: Whereto has expanded its senior social and government team with the addition of Cressida Gaukroger and Benita Tan.
With a PhD from the City University of New York Graduate Center, Cressida Gaukroger joins Whereto as Senior Public Policy and Social Researcher. Cressida’s unique research background and incisive mind contributes to Whereto’s strong interest in the social and cultural context and the impact on human behaviour. Prior to moving Australia and joining Whereto Cressida was a Departmental Lecturer in Philosophy at Oxford University, specialising in Ethics and Philosophy of Mind and Psychology.

Benita joins Whereto as Director Social and Government Research. She brings over 15 years’ experience in quantitative and qualitative research, focussed on delivering social change and commercial impact for clients across Singapore and Australia. Her agency experience includes Research International (Kantar), DBM Consultants, GfK Blue Moon and most recently, Essence Communications. Benita is passionate about the melding of methodologies and disciplines to tackle complex research issues, while making the participation in research rewarding for participants.
