An online archive of the Research Society’s publication, Research News has been built, covering all the issues since 2014. A team made up of Fellows and Independent researchers worked through 2020 to create and index 342 search terms comprising themes and topics covered in Research News, ranging from Storytelling, through Gaming to Predictions. The Research News Archive contains 49 issues of Research News, and 376 articles.
The archive can be searched by topic, author, title – and can be viewed article-by-article, or as complete issues at https://researchsociety.com.au/stay-informed/archive/research-news-archive
Additional indexes have also been built to cover research methods, products and services researched, industry contexts and location of research conducted. These indexes allow the Research News Archive to also be accessed via the UK’s Archive of Market and Social Research, at https://amsr.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/p21050coll1/search.
The Research News Archive is publicly available in-order to encourage use and promotion of our resources as widely as possible. For instance, to encourage the quotation of Research News articles and authors in academic works, a citation link is provided for Endnote, Microsoft’s references and citations software. Additional citation formats can be added to the software on request.
The Research Society gratefully acknowledges the team that volunteered their time to build the index, including: Suz Allen, Matt Balogh, Helen Bartley, Mike Beder, Nicky Fraser, Jane Gregory, Megan McCarthy, Sean McNally, Philip Mitchell-Taverner and Bryony Ranford.
The Research News Archive was conceived, designed and programmed by Matt Balogh.
