MEDIA RELEASE: July 21 2022: Verve, the experts in culture, communities and smart digital insight, have appointed Alex Charlton as SVP Technology, Media and Telecoms in New York, with a remit to grow the company’s global TMT practice and help build-out its North America business.

Having previously founded and managed two consumer insight agencies, Essential Research and Craft,  Charlton brings more than two decades of experience to the role. At Verve, he will lead the agency’s newly established TMT vertical, working alongside Miranda Barenie who already leads Verve’s North America CPG/ Retail vertical.

Andrew Cooper, Verve Founder and CEO, comments: “It is brilliant to have Alex on board to drive our North American Tech, Media and Telecoms offering as well as bring our Culture, Trends and Semiotics at scale business to the US. We’re excited about bringing all these new capabilities to market, complimenting the tremendous work that Miranda Barenie and the existing North America team are doing”

Charlton adds: “I am thrilled to be working with Andrew and the team at Verve – this role means I get to combine my passion for building successful consumer insights agencies with my passion for helping the world’s most successful TMT brands understand, anticipate and satisfy real-world customer needs.”

Verve is currently recruiting all levels of researchers across North America with a particular focus on their hubs in Chicago and New York.
